17.01.2022 There are aspects of criminal law that really make me shake my head sometimes so i can imagine how non-legal persons feel!!!!! But one of the most rewarding parts of my job is being able to help clients achieve great outcomes. I recently acted for a beautiful client who had been the victim of Domestic violence. i had assisted her with legal advise after her husband was charged with a DV assault upon her and continued to breach the AVO put in place for my clients protection. ...Her difficult mother in law had applied for an AVO against my client after a one-off verbal argument in the context where the MIL had failed to return my clients 5 year old for a full 24 hours after she was meant to!!!! Needless to say my client was upset but that didn't mean an AVO should have been made against her by the MIL after words were exchanged post the child being returned. Thankfully after hearing evidence from the MIL the Court saw sense and through the case out, without even hearing from my client.
12.01.2022 I had the great pleasure of sponsoring a piggy race held by Riverina car rally team - crash test dummies today in Wagga! It was a beautiful day at Thomas Blamey Tavern in Wagga! I was the successful bidder on purple piggy called hold my beer and after a photo finish with green piggy, purple piggy was announced as the winner! Whooo hooooo Not only was it a fantastic day but we were also raising money for the amazing country hope who support families with children who are suffering from life threatening illnesses! I’m very pleased to be taking part in the 2020 Riverina car rally to support country hope!

06.01.2022 2019 is well and truely underway with lots of cases before the Court! I obtained a non-conviction for a domestic violence client this week. Awesome result.
