21.01.2022 I'M NO LONGER OBESE!! Today was my 12 month appointment with my surgeon and to say he was happy is an understatement. I smashed the expectation of the surgeon. He likes to see his patients at a 70% loss, im at 78.7%. I sat in the appointment today finally realising how hard I am on myself. I'm now excited and proud of my efforts. Since commencing my journey I havent just sat and waited for the weight to drop off. I've worked out, eaten properly (95% of the time) taken my su...pplements and never given up or stopped. Weightloss surgery is a tool, not the fix and lucky for me I knew this and didnt use the surgery to fix my weight problem but allowed it to help get to where I need to be. I will reach my goal and ill stay there. My mindset and life has changed. The surgery was a success for me as I haven't abused it. The dreaded 3 digit number has gone! I've cracked it and ill never be back there! Current stats: - 99.7kG - 58.1kg loss - 78.7% excess body weight gone - BMI 29.8 The surgeon took the photo on the left when I booked in for the surgery 12 months ago. What a difference.

01.01.2022 55kg down, 6 weeks shy of my 12 month sleeve anniversary and here I am counting down to complete a triathlon. If someone had told me that I would be entering into a tri 12 months ago I would have laughed at them. Massive thanks to Anna who has made me the stronger fitter better person I am today. My ultimate goal is to complete to tri in 45-60 mins however my main goal is to complete it! I want to cross that finish line! Bring it on! We got this girls!
