Many departments urgently need more staff, more equipment and more support for patient care, teaching, training and research. Our only priority is improving the care for our patients and their families. To achieve this we need action from our Executive, the WCHN Board and the Minister of Health.... 16.01.2022 Are we really seeing more children's services going from the Women's and Children's Hospital We have daily instances of doctors at the hospital speaking out about the dire state of services at the WCH, yet the Government’s response is less surgery. It looks clear that this would be part of an attempt to reduce and downgrade hospital services before the new WCH is built.
