14.01.2022 Sate Plumbing is still open for emergency plumbing work during stage 4 lockdown. Had a client call saying they had no water due to the hot water unit failing. Considering it is winter and we did not want the client to be showering with just cold water. We were able to get a new hot water unit and install it as soon as we could. 13.01.2022 The client was complaining the hot water would be really hot and was hard to adjust on every fixture. Upon further inspection, this solar hot water unit was missing tempering valve which did not comply with the AS-NZS 3500.4 2018. Replaced a section of the drain to the legal point of discharge. 06.01.2022 Had a call out where the tenants had reported a sink being blocked up and they had another plumber come yesterday who poured a very strong acid down the drain thinking it would unblock it. Little did they know that it was a galvanised steel drain which was causing the blockage. I had no other way inside the house and there was no inspection opening below so I decided to go on the roof and through the vent.
