One of the best ways to help reduce the pain and inflammation is through exercises. Stretching exercises for plantar fasciitis aim to stretch the fascia. This helps reduce the tension on the band of tissue. Massage can help loosen up your plantar fascia making it a very effective treatment to help reduce the tension and pain. Cupping treatments are also a very effective in significantly reducing plantar fasciitis pain. 08.01.2022 Stress, life, overworked, parenting, relationships, working out, household chores are all things that may lead to you feeling like the world has just dumped bricks on your shoulders. Generally speaking what you are feeling is tightness of your upper traps. Being conscious of how you sit at work can be of benefit by not having your shoulders rolled inwards and another tip being to try and be relaxed thus not shrug your shoulders constantly. My advice for everyone that feel te...nsion in their upper traps during the day is to make an effort to do three simple movements first one being to roll your shoulders in a circular motion inwards (just your shoulders not your arms bent out and rolling your elbows concentrate on movement of the shoulders) Easy ten large rotations all the way back, up, forward and down. Repeat this action ten times and then do in reverse action of rotation (again only your shoulders) in a backward motion starting with shoulders inwards, up, back and down. Also repeat this action ten times. After doing ten shoulder rotation motions both forwards and backwards then shrug your shoulders and hold for ten seconds. Repeat this action a couple of times. Lastly a nice stretch to your upper traps which I recommend doing two ways first one start with the side stretch where you pull your head so that your ear is directly facing your shoulder hold for five and then switch sides. Repeat this action twice. The second easy stretch is having your head diagonally forward so that your chin is facing your shoulder it’s helpful to use you hand with this stretch by placing your hand on your head and aiding the movement of your head pulling down gently also hold this stretch for five, repeat on opposite side and do twice. I know that saying do this three times a day is an easy thing to do yet most likely people can forget. Having either a bold comment on your phone set as the screen saver saying regular movement of traps and stretches will help me feel less stressed, reduce headaches, feel not as much tension, make better movement, tightness and restriction of my shoulder will dissipate Just may help. Another way could be to print out the easy to do traps stretch and three step reminder of forward and backward circular movement of my shoulders along with shoulder shrugs may also help you remember to do these simple steps to reduce tension built up in your upper traps. Hopefully my lovely words of wisdom will help prevent your traps from tightening, aid to release tension and overall feel more relaxed and lighten in the shoulders.
