24.01.2022 Its funny how animals can sense your moods. I have been unwell for a few days now, and Nugget has been by my side the whole time. Today I spent it on the couch with Nuggie by my feet. To make him more comfortable I dragged his bed over next to me, where he spent the day having doggie dreams. I took these photos of him all tucked into his bed Isnt he gorgeous

17.01.2022 I took these photos of Nugget yesterday afternoon whilst he was napping in his downstairs day bed! Nugget Fact: Has 4 x beds to choose from and each bed has a pillow, matching quilt and seperate blanket 1. Outdoor bed on our back deck... 2. Downstairs day bed in the lounge room 3. Upstairs day/night bed in our bedroom 4. Our bed (also Nuggies bed) Do your pets have multiple beds in your home? Id like to think that Im not the only crazy pet owner! Good night from Nuggie
17.01.2022 I am sooo pooped that I can barely keep my eyes open!!! My day started out with a fun car ride to Samford, a relaxing walk though the park, later I watched my dad chop up firewood in the front yard, had a little nap in the sun, went for an afternoon walk, then my mum took me to the doctor because she found some red nasty sores on my tummy. I really really really dont like going there because I usually get a needle, but this time my mummy called me a Good Boy because I ...rolled over onto my back so that the doctor could examine my belly. When we got home my mum made me a yummy dinner, I went for a short walk with my dad in the dark and now here I am, on our bed . My mummy has just finished putting cream on my tummy and I am feeling soooo much better! I am such a lucky boy living the good life! Woof woof!!

12.01.2022 I cant imagine a world without my Nugget! From the moment that I rescued him almost 11 years ago, I knew he was going to be SPECIAL . Today, I took Nugget for his usual afternoon walk when a little girl (approx. 5 years old) ran over to us asking if she could pat my dog. I said, Of course, and introduced Nugget to her. For about 5 minutes she asked me questions about him, all the while she patted his head, chest, tail and back. Nugget stood very still, allowing the... little girl to pat and get close to him. When the little girl finally walked away with her mum I heard her say, Mum, for my birthday can I please have a Nugget? The Mum responded with, Hmmm, Ill think about it. The little girl then said, But he has to be an old dog, exactly like Nugget. Nugget did such a good job today. He is such a great embassador for senior Rescue dogs!

06.01.2022 The last few weeks have been quiet for me. Ive spent all of my spare time painting and redecorating our bedroom. Its is such a big job....preparing the wall, sanding, cleaning, painting and cutting in the paint. Today, I finished the first of three paintings that I will hang up on my wall. I hope you like it
