We started with a base rub of Risk It from @smokypasturesbbq then we dialled up the flavour with The Split Gin Blend from @saucdlownslow. This blend added some awesome flavour and created a spot on bark. Cooked low and slow for 9.5hours we used cherry and pecan wood from @natural_smoke_australia for an epic smoke ring. Being the first big Boston Butt that id tried, I reached out @underthehoodbbq_nz for some guidance! Check these guys out, they have some excellent instructional videos on their insta page. It pulled liked a dream and there were zero complaints from the fam! Winning!!
