21.01.2022 Here's something different! We got our favourite baby capsicums from @missymaesflavourfinders and decided to do a yummy stir fry with our Saucy Wench Garlic & Eschallot Vinaigrette! ... 1 punnet baby capsicums, halved and membranes & seeds removed 3 dried shiitake mushrooms, soaked for an hour, then stalks removed and sliced (optional)... 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped 3 tbsp Saucy Wench Garlic Eschallot Vinaigrette 2 tsp brown sugar 1/2 cup of mint leaves 1 tbsp peanut oil ... Heat oil in wok over a high heat, and when it shimmers, add capsicums, garlic and shiitake mushrooms. Stir fry for about 2 mins, then add Saucy Wench Garlic Eschallot Vinaigrette and brown sugar. Caramelise the sauce (when it bubbles and the bubbles kinda pop slowly). Add the mint leaves and stir through. Serve with other dishes and rice See more

16.01.2022 It's not an Aussie Christmas (yes, Mr Saucy's bought the inflatable Santa, so I'm forced to acknowledge that it's nearly Christmas) without delicious, succulent Aussie prawns! Here's a recipe for a yummy prawn cocktail! Fill a large wine glass with shredded iceberg lettuce. Top with some chopped gherkin or capers or even avocado (optional) Peel and devein several cooked large tiger or king prawns.... Hang them off the rim of the glass with their tails out. Mix together mayonnaise, Saucy Wench Chilli Ginger Lime Sauce and chopped eschallots or spring onions. Place a dollop of sauce in the middle of the wine glass and garnish with parsley or coriander and a lemon wedge. Squeeze over lemon before eating! ... Better yet, place all the unpeeled prawns in a bowl and serve the sauce and lemon wedges on the side and tell the family to peel their own bloody prawns! See more
