24.01.2022 Wow that has snuck up on us. Only 4 months till we start taking our shitbox on our 4000km trek. We have way too much to get sorted. Look at the inside of our car for example. And it smells much worse than it looks.

21.01.2022 Day 4 and we are at Karumba. It has been a awesome day with newly graded roads, a dodgy bit where we had roadworks and road trains everywhere but a great day of driving. But the car did not have a great day. Fuel leak and the balancer is not really balancing any more. Might be what kills her. Just 2000 to go.

20.01.2022 Beautiful country from the air. It is amazing land we are driving through. The helicopter really shows how remote this place is. We were enjoying it until we saw what is in the next video.....

19.01.2022 Day 6. Finally across the NT border. It was a big day on the dirt. Lots of fun in the bull dust. Not much scenery but we did see our first dingo. Now for some coldies and a talent show at Barkly Homestead. Should get some laughs.

18.01.2022 We have delivery Thanks to Brendan who sponsored us this Shitbox veteran. Still decorated from last year's shitbox from Perth to Sydney via Uluru. We now start to get her ready for her next adventure. Looks alright from the outside but you wait till I post what it looks like inside. Let's just say there were glitter, flour and stink bombs at the finish line last year.

12.01.2022 She is gone. SOLD. We say goodbye to the third member of our team. She was a beauty. Handled everything we dished out and, besides a little hiccup half way through, never complained. We will miss her, except her smell.

06.01.2022 Sorry about the late wake up post. Long night for Matt and the guys from triage. Harmonic balancer and sensors transplanted from a series 2 to a series 1. Then this morning she spat the water pump wheel off so a quick weld job this morning. Matt was a legend.

02.01.2022 Now starts the clean up. Smells like..... I am not sure. So bad. I am afraid I will find something dead in here.

02.01.2022 Day 5. Karumba to Hells Gate. Was a short 457km today of mostly sealed roads. But some cool stuff along the road. Normanton had the purple pub and Norm the big croc. Leichardt Falls were not flowing but got to see a wild croc. Hoping now to get a scenic chopper flight over Hells Gate. If only the fuel line will move.
