(2) Without limiting the generality of subclause (1), the Planning Ministerial Corporation may acquire in any manner authorised by that subclause: (a) any land to which an environmental planning instrument applies and which the Minister considers should be made available in the public interest for any purpose, or (b) any land of which that proposed to be acquired under this clause forms part, or (c) any land adjoining or in the vicinity of any land proposed to be acquired under this clause, or (d) a leasehold or any other interest in land. 04.01.2022 Granville Historical Society members attended a Cumberland Council event which was designed to protect our heritage. Well done Cumberland, it was well attended,... Brian Powyer President of the National Trust was guest speaker, telling us about Parramatta Heritage Partners. (We need a Cumberland Heritage Partners) interested Cumberland Councillors attended as well, and were happy to be there. We were fed well, the food was tasty. Next meeting we should be able to put up samples of our heritage. The Cumberland Community will be asked to post photos, Ivor Jones we need your help to cover all of our area. Prospect, Sherwood and Granville to our knowledge has people actively collecting, Will the protectors of the Eastern end of Council make yourselves known to us please, so we can all work together. Thanks to all who came up with the idea, and organised the event. It inspires our organisations to propose events that will highlight and benefit the rich history of our area.
