25.01.2022 No more leaks!

25.01.2022 Taking advantage of lockdown 2 and decided my own bathroom needed a facelift. After discovering two layers of tiles laid on top of wire mesh (and screed) for the floor this job was not for the faint hearted. The white terrazzo tiles on the floor with the white wall tiles (300 x 600 floor to ceiling) create a nice feeling of space and height for the room. Note Harvey my labrador acting as site supervisor

23.01.2022 There is nothing like finishing a week with feedback such as this! Aside from seeing the finished product, what makes it more satisfying is meeting the client's expectations. This particular job had water damage due to missing grout and cracked silicone joints. The walls over the bath were stripped, stud walls reinstated (rotten timber), re-sheeted the walls, waterproofed and tiled. Happy weekend all, David

22.01.2022 What a nightmare this job was, tiles on top of tiles on top of asbestos, on top of render. Thank goodness it's finished . Now they get the bathtub re-sprayed

14.01.2022 This is a re-build shower that I completed about a year ago. Unfortunately the client informed us, they had a hairline crack in the base that has been fixed twice, but has opened up again. The job as of today is stripped again and a new base has been installed by our plumber. The shower walls will be re sheeted tomorrow and waterproofed, ready for re tilling on Wednesday. More photos will be available on completion.
