24.01.2022 Hi Everyone, The SMH will be taking a photo at the new park at Brooklyn Oval at 3ish today (Friday) to complement a story about KU Mobile 1 Preschool closing at the end of the year due to changes in the funding model and the high SEIFA ranking of our area. Reporter Rachel Browne has asked me to gather some past, present and potential pre-schoolers and their families for a photo. 24.01.2022 Tonight is the Hornsby Council meeting when the fate of the hall will be decided. Councillors will be voting on their recommendation to defer consideration regarding the long term future of 3 Baden Powell Avenue Brooklyn until after the Community Facilities Strategic Plan has been completed. We'll keep you posted on the outcome.

20.01.2022 Since it was built by the river community Baden Powell Hall has been a hub where mothers and children gather so it's really special to let you know that The Red Tent is coming to our much loved community hall on July 22nd.

19.01.2022 BADEN POWELL HALL SAVED. At Hornsby Council meeting last night the Councillors unanimously voted to maintain and repair the hall until it's long term future is decided at the completion of the Brooklyn Facilities Strategic Plan.

10.01.2022 The Baden Powell Hall Working Group has pledged $5000 of community raised funds towards the capital works to repair and remove any asbestos and reclad the building. $2400 was raised at Open Day. Local businesses, individuals and families have also generously pledged support donations. WE ONLY NEED $500 MEET OUR PLEDGE TARGET. Please help by pledging your donation today....
