18.01.2022 When I see this, I feel it’s all been worth it! 15 years ago, Biome started promoting this unusual concept of a reusable water bottle. It wasn’t new of co...urse, because since the beginning of human history we have sought ways to transport life-giving water in gourds, bladders, porcelain and glass jars...but since the 1970’s the concept took a major detour. Conveniently disposable plastic bottles were used to commoditise plain tap water. This detour ended in more than one million plastic bottles being sold at Glastonbury Festival in 2017! When everyone could have just brought their reusable bottle, or drunk from the bubbler, right? Which comes wrapped in soft plastic, these can be #recyc...led at your local coles or Woolworths.
