22.01.2022 Our storyIn April 2019 I left my role as our Region’s High-Performance Pathway Operations Manager to invest more time in our newly established wine bar busines...s that we had opened in December. Our mission was to Bring good food, good wine and good friends together. It was a safe haven for similarly aged women looking for a space to enjoy that wasn’t overcrowded, embraced like-minded people looking for somewhere that catered for a more sophisticated crowd. It’s a cool space, it’s our baby. We didn’t anticipate Covid-19. Nobody did. We found ourselves thrust into the world of takeaway food with all the other hospitality owners out thereand its ferocious. So, we needed to create a concept that set us apart from the masses and offered a great product that stayed true to our missionand that was where our Pizza Kits business was born. We wanted to provide families with a shared experience through isolation that brings families together. Our Pizza Kits are prepared to order daily I am a stickler for freshness. We source premium ingredients locally where possible and portion out each pizza kit recipe along with house-made dough and an easy to follow recipe instruction card. Kids love ‘wearing the pants’ in the kitchen and this gives them a fun activity to do while we are in isolation (plus, mum can take a bit of a breather ). For those who have tried the kits, the feedback has been overwhelming, and we thank you for your support and encouragement. We have been slowly building up a loving and loyal following that might provide an opportunity for us to re-engage our staff one day fingers crossed. Our online orders have a cut off time at midday for same day pick up or delivery (to Mt Eliza, Mornington & Mt Mt Martha) every Friday and Saturday. The Dandelion Wishes Foundation and Monash Children’s Hospital are seeking caterers for our Dandelion Wishes Celebration At Home, to be held on the evening of Saturday 21 November. Due to ongoing restrictions in Victoria, the virtual Celebration is taking place of our annual fundraising Gala for 2020. The event will be hosted by Alicia Loxley from the Nine News team and is expec...ted to attract families from across Melbourne for a wonderful evening of exclusive performances, heart-warming stories and vital fundraising, live-streamed direct to our guests’ homes. All funds raised from the event will go towards creating a state-of-the-art Children’s Emergency Department at Monash Children’s Hospital. To make the evening extra special, we are seeking catering partners across the South East and East of metropolitan Melbourne and also Gippsland who could create and deliver a special Dandelion Wishes Celebration option on their menu for the evening of Saturday 21 November, with 10% of the profits from the package to be donated to Monash Children’s hospital. We will only be open on a ...Saturday and Sunday at this stage, and due to only being able to have limited numbers (20 people per session), there will be 3 times available, 10am, 12pm and 2pm. We will only be offering the Catch and Keep option, and NOT Catch and Release. We apologise for this, but we need to be as Covid safe as we can.
