09.01.2022 The #FixNSWTransport lantern walk is on TOMORROW. WHAT: Fix NSW Transport lantern walk WHERE: Sydney Town Hall WHEN: 5:30pm - 7:30pm Saturday August 11th.... Don't worry if you don't have a lantern, bring a torch or a sign or a funny hat and show the pollies that we demand change to stop the tolls and put public and active transport first. Speakers include Lord Mayor Clover Moore, Alex Claassens (RTBU), Mary Court (No M4 Toll, PVCU), Bronwyn Batten (Illawarra Rail Fail), Steve O'Brien (Newcastle Hunter Urban Planning Transport Alliance), John Lozano (No WestCONnex: Public Transport) and a concerned young boy. We will start at Sydney Town Hall for speeches at 5:30pm and then march from about 6:30pm. 04.01.2022 This is a total disgrace. All predictable as long as 4 years ago when the very first Westconnex misleading documents started to be released. Te government did everything imaginable to remove any sense of governance and accountability. To now have the contractors essentially self-assess whether they might need to pay compensation is the epitome of bad practice and governance. This government deserves everything it gets in arch, and hopefully prosecution of many Ministers and ex-premiers for their morally corrupt abuse of their community.
