06.01.2022 Way to go, WA! The new "Plan for Plastics" sets the most ambitious targets in the country for stemming the flow of wildlife-killing plastics to the ocean. Plastic plates, cutlery, stirrers, polystyrene food containers, thick plastic bags, and the release of helium balloons will be banned by 2023, and single-use produce bags, microbeads and cotton buds will be phased out by 2026.
