19.01.2022 Yesterday was the three years since the Save Our Sirius Rally! Thousands of you marched in support of Sirius and its residents. Today Sirius is standing, but empty. Meanwhile, we have an increasing national homeless crisis. Almost 5,000 people are in insecure housing in the City of Sydney, and the numbers in other cities are not too different.... Today, Lord Mayors form around Australia are calling on the Federal Government to work with states and territories to develop a National Housing and Homelessness Strategy now. Photos 1. 17.01.2022 A Millers Point Community event Most people thought last week's farmers market outside the Abraham Mott Hall in Millers Point was a fabulous community event -- a chance to buy some great produce, meet locals old and new, enjoy carols by Choir Rocks at 6.30 pm, and enjoy a BBQ and a great atmosphere. All on again from 5 pm today and also next Monday (except Choir Rocks may be singing only tonight -- great for kids to join in).
