19.01.2022 Greetings all St. Stephens friends, Juliette has kindly prepared worship material for us so that we will be able to feel united during the Easter period where being part of a Christian Community and experiencing both the sorrow and celebration of this special time is so important. Church Council, together with the Minister, we have discerned and decided that at this time we will not be having Holy Communion online.... If anyone wished to, they may join in online with others offering Holy Communion online. They may go to the Assembly website to read more about offering Holy Communion online for links https://mailchi.mp/nat/2020week10holyweek?e=6e69814807 See more

Therefore, St Stephens Williamstown Church Council now advise that all Worship Services and all User Groups using St Stephens Williamstown Church facilities, to be advised that Worship Services and non-essential gatherings at St Stephens are all suspended until further notice, due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) impact! Rev S. Juliette Maua’i (UCA Minister)

15.01.2022 Maundy Thursday. Love and prayers this Easter tide to all our congregation We are one and in spirit no matter where we are at this time

10.01.2022 This Sunday’s (29/3/20) Lectionary Readings - speak of ‘Life and Hope in God’; the breath of life in times of death and despair. Ezekiel 37:1-14 The Valley of Dry Bones, one of my favourite Hebrew Scriptures: v.14 - I will put my spirit within you, and you shall live. Psalm 130 The Psalmist’s encouraging prayer: v.5 - I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I hope.... Romans 8:6-11 Life Through the Spirit: v.6 - To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. John 11:1-45 Jesus’ Words of Comfort to Mary and Martha at the Death of their brother, Lazarus: vv.25-26 - Jesus said to her [Martha], "I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?" May you seek and listen for Life and Hope in God’; the breath of life in times of death and despair. For these times we are experiencing will pass but in God we shall have Life through the Holy Spirit! In fellowship and peace, Juliette. Rev S. Juliette Maua’i UCA Minister (Part-time) St Stephens Williamstown Uniting Church.
