25.01.2022 SALLY HAS NOW BEEN ADOPTED URGENT FOSTER (view to adopt) CARE NEEDED Meet gorgeous Sally the Cocker Spaniel ... This beautiful, much loved 10 year old lady is needing care as her Owners are moving overseas and Sally wont travel well We are looking for someone interested in fostering Sally with a view to adopt as we dont feel moving her between multiple homes at her age will be fair on her (current home to foster carer, foster carer to adopter). This will give the rescue the opportunity to complete all necessary vet work. She is a friendly girl that gets on well with other doggos and is great with kids (however we would prefer a home without children under 3)! She hasnt been tested with cats as of yet... So would prefer a home without them as we cannot guarantee that she will not be reactive. We are ideally looking for an applicant that does not work long hrs and that can provide her with as much company as possible. 24.01.2022 KITTEN ALERT Meet the ever so handsome Mato this gorgeous ~6 week old Tuxedo X Ragdoll boy recently found himself homeless and borderline wild with little human interaction. One of our experienced carers took him under his wing and Mato has since made amazing progress He is still weary of new people and may be skittish at first, but if you spend a bit of time with this sweet heart, youll have the pleasure of hearing his loud happy purr. He is comfortable with other ...cats as he currently lives with his older foster siblings but has not been tested with dogs We hope to find Mato a patient and loving companion and are accepting expressions of interest. The vets were a bit shocked for a kitty of my age to be abandoned, so they gave me the once over to see if there was anything medically wrong with me... nope! I am fit as a fiddle! While I am an otherwise healthy cat and an absolute delight to be around I am worried... worried that my age will mean I am overlooked by potential adopters. I can promise you however that if you are willing to take a chance on an old girl like me, I will provide you with a movie marathon companion, a lap warmer, a bed snuggler and someone to chillax with in the afternoons Due to my age, the rescue thinks its best I am an only pet. 19.01.2022 Why does nobody want us? When will it be our turn to find forever homes? These two black beauties have been over-looked time and time again due to no fault of their own for younger kitties or others with more "preferred" coat colours. Unfortunately this is something that rescues experience and whilst we understand that people have likes and dislikes, no animal deserves to be short changed due to their looks besides, we think theyre just gorgeous with their silky coats ...and bright eyes Orlando found himself homeless and abandoned at RSPCA WA. When the rescue was contacted, he was scared, confused and in need of saving- so we wasted no time in finding him a suitable foster carer. He is a sweet natured 2 year old boy who will flourish in a loving, patient home. He can be a touch shy and will require time to adjust to new people and surroundings BUT should he find that special someone, he will reward them with lots of love and unconditional loyalty. He is currently in care with other kitties, however we feel at this time a home with no other pets would be best Suzie is a lovely 4 year old lady that found herself homeless and then into the hands of Saving Animals Matters due to a change in circumstances from a previous owner. 18.01.2022 UPDATE- Both adopted Introducing the beautiful tuxedo sisters Sooty & Sweep! ... These girls are 2 out of 11 kitties recently surrendered to the rescue from the same home. Sadly, as much as their previous owner loved them, they struggled to adequately care for them all and made the difficult decision to reach out the rescue for assistance. Fortunately, some amazing volunteers stepped up, offering foster homes until each and every one finds their forever home They can be a little scared of new environments and people however when given time and patience, they will reward their human companions with unconditional love and loyalty Though they dont mind sharing their home with other animals, its important to have their own space respected. 18.01.2022 We have some sad news... Unfortunately poor Thomas was returned to the clinic he was surrendered to :( He began urinating on the linen etc at the home of his recent adopter. He has had numerous tests to determine whether there are any underlying health conditions that may have contributed to this behaviour... however, they have come back all clear So where does this leave him? ... He is once again homeless and in need of a special someone willing to give him a second chance He will need 100% commitment and toilet training (we are talking the basics). Note: He hasnt been around other before, so we feel a home without any other kitties would be best. We also feel he would benefit from a home with a purposed cat run (however this isnt essential). Shes a beautiful Bengal X and around 3 years young. ... Cougar is social girl who has previously lived with other cats and dogs. He is understandably shaken up and should be given understanding and adequate time to settle in (all foster animals for that matter should be). 14.01.2022 UPDATE- Now adopted Introducing Peter the Puppy! This gorgeous Bull Mastiff X American Staffy boy is seeking a loving home to call his own. He came into our care when his owner was no longer able to care for him and his siblings.... Peter is a super social puppy who loves human attention...we mean adores it! He likes to play and cuddle his toys, with teddy being his toy of preference Hes definitely the most confident and adventurous of his siblings! When hes not playing with his toys, he can be found tackling his siblings which keeps him entertained for hours! He is otherwise relatively calm in nature and will best suit a family environment Due to Peters young age he will need frequent and consistent exercise and someone confident with training, so that his manners can be further developed. He will also need plenty of stimulation to help prevent behaviours resulting in boredom. 11.01.2022 Im not just a survivor, Im a warrior Bronson was one 3 pups recently surrendered to Saving Animals Matters. He was rushed into our care in a critical condition with severe physical and emotional trauma from an unknown cause. His chances of surviving were slim. Bronson required major surgery to reconstruct his face and mouth (externally and internally) and even if he survived the surgery, significant damage to his larynx and nasal passage meant that recovery would be chall...enging Things were looking grim, however when an animal comes into our care, we make a commitment to fight for them, and boy... did Bronson fight for himself too He survived his surgery, however swelling around his brain showed signs of neurological issues and limited eyesight which we feared may be permanent Bronson spent most days at the vet, receiving around the clock care to help give him the best chance of survival. At night, he was given hourly fluids and syringed fed food by his devoted carer The improvement this young pup has made is nothing short of a miracle. The swelling around his brain has subsided which means he walks and plays as seamlessly as any healthy puppy. His wounds have healed tremendously and other than some minor disfiguratuon around his face, you wouldnt know if his challenging start to life Bronson is a gorgeous American Staffy X who although was initially very shy (understandably) has now flourished into a social puppy who loves the attention of people and playing with his foster brother Token Due to his young age he will need frequent and consistent exercise and a patient companion that will put time into training his good manners further. He is currently in care with dogs and has been exposed to cats and children. With gentle introductions, we think he will adjust well to a household with others Its time for miracle boy to find his forever home and live his best life going forward. 08.01.2022 Hello! - I've now been adopted My name is Inde (Indiana) I’m a gorgeous 5 year old girl looking for a loving new home. I’m not sure of my breed but I look like a Russian Blue x Ragdoll with beautiful long fur and a fluffy tail. I’ve always been an indoor cat and quite like it that way My last home wasn’t great. I had to share my space with two big dogs that didn’t like me and a family that didn’t give me much love and attention ... I can be a bit scared at times because of this, but I’m slowly learning to trust humans that are gentle and patient with me. I’m happy to come up to you and let you pat me and scratch my head and back. I like snuggling up beside people, you’ll know when I’m feeling happy by the sound of my big purr I’m looking for a loving, safe and stable home. 06.01.2022 UPDATE- Both adopted Introducing the stunning Tortie girls ~ Penny & Kiki These beautiful meowdels recently found themselves homeless after a change in their previous owners circumstances. Now in the hands of Saving Animals Matters, its our job to find them loving and safe homes that they truly deserve ... We are both a little shy initially but when given patience and kindness, we do love a cuddle and gain confidence over time. Although we could double take as twins, were actually not even related! We do however share a lovely bond as you can see and would happily be adopted together. If we go to different homes, thats okay too Both kitties would be okay with older children, however Kiki would thrive best in a quieter home. Penny is a little more confident and may do well with younger kids. Going into a household with new pets would involve caution and slow introductions for both Penny & Kiki. This beautiful 6.5 year old Purebred Papillion is looking for a new home after a change in her owners living circumstances. Trixie is a special lady who unfortunately experiences seizures from time to time which may be triggered by stressful situations. To manage this, she is currently on CBD/Hemp oil which has thankfully stopped the seizures in their tracks however they may still o...ccur in future. With this in mind, its very important that Trixies new companion is responsible and patient with her needs. She would also be best suited to a home without the competition of other animals however may tolerate the right personality. Meeting Trixie, you wouldnt know of her condition.
