14.01.2022 A reminder for all you bird lovers out there
14.01.2022 Today is Threatened Species weekend, Fathers Day and the first beautiful weekend of Spring 2020. A small group of volunteers planted a range of understory plan...ts at the Boorowa Red Hill Reserve to celebrate those events. Plants planted included Lomondra longifolia, Carex spp, Drooping Sheoak (hopefully one day a food tree for Black Cockatoos), Sticky Hopbush and Hardenbergia violacea. This planting was funded from the Boorowa Environmental Trust Creating Land and Water connections for Superb Parrots and Pygmy Perch See more

The Savi...ng our Superb Parrot project has been doing great things to look after the future for this bird. In the Mid Lachlan Landcare region alone landholders have planted an amazing 1200 individually stock proof guarded scattered paddock trees across about 35 farms. Wouldn't it be great to see this many Superbs more regularily into the future Landcare NSW See more
