23.01.2022 Parce qu'on ne les voit presque jamais, voici quelques fruits de camellias (la récolte et presque terminée dans le Finistère, si jamais vous voulez semer, dépêchez-vous). As we rarely see pictures of these, here a a few camellia fruits (harvest season is almost other now)
19.01.2022 Camellia amplexicaulis is one of the most magnificent species, with its flowers , buds and leaves. It is very tender, and I have seen it only in Vietnam and Southwest China. All pictures taken during my first trip to Vietnam, in 2001 (I am the bald guy beside the tree).

11.01.2022 C. petelotii, described as early as in 1924, lives in North Vietnam. It has very long leaves , up to 18 centimetres, which contrast with the small flowers. Less famous but not less graceful than its close relative C. nitidissima. Photographed in the park Tamdao, Vietnam.
