Posted @withrepost @kimgibbsloves Early morning bike rides around the white city of Siracusa followed by a visit to the black & white city of Cantania for another cooking class. We started off at the vibrant fish and fruit markets. The city is situated at the footsteps of Mt Etna and the rich, volcanic soil produces the bright purple cabbage and vegetables that look like they are on steroids. ...A great cooking class where we made pasta and cannoli and for morning tea we ate titty cakes in honour of their patron Saint, St Agnes.
