Kevin was a life member of the club and served as our club Head Trainer for 15 years. Remembered by our soccer family of coaches, players & members. May Kevin now rest in peace...

Back on Pirie West Oval we take on the challenge of Salisbury Inter Soccer Club - a 2019 Division One side. We are ready to go after an extra long pre-season Kick-off 1pm; Reserves 3pm ; Seniors. Please take note of a few changes for spectators on Sunday:... One entry/exit point - via the Mary Elie Street Entrance (Lions FC Club side) Canteen is open - time for a #savdog Help stop the spread - lets all practice social distancing & good hygiene. If you are feeling unwell, please rest at home. Spectators (up to 500!!!) are permitted. We suggest bring a chair, sitting around the perimeter of the oval. Please remain at least 2 metres away from the playing field. Upstairs Function Centre & Balcony open but will be limited, with patrons to be seated at all times. 12.01.2022 >>> COVID-19 UPDATE >>> The Savoy Soccer Club advises that there IS NOT a Covid-19 threat to our players, members or spectators. A spectator at the Savoy V Salisbury Inter game was advised that the school where she teachers was closed due to a student testing positive. She was not classed as a close contact and posed no threat.... Although she did not have any symptoms She took it upon herself to get tested with a subsequent NEGATIVE result. The Savoy Soccer Club chose to err on the side of caution and immediately notified all players and spectators, SAASL and Sailsbury Inter. Some Individuals chose to get tested and/or isolate until this negative result was confirmed. This is a timely reminder that personal hygiene, social distancing and staying home when unwell is paramount in our everyday activities.
