Most plastic doesn’t get recycled either (only 14% does) so it keeps ending up in places where it shouldn’t. Like the 8 million tonnes of plastic that finds its way into our oceans every year that’s like dumping the contents of a garbage truck into the ocean every minute! ... Sadly, most standard (petroleum-based plastic) coffee capsules fall into these mammoth statistics. Shame on you basic foil & plastic capsules!!
