20.01.2022 Kitchens - "the focal point" Love the greys and timbers together here in this stunning kitchen! Who wouldn't want to spend a lot of time cooking, entertaining and simply just hanging out if you had this space? By demonstrating a combo of matt, gloss and timber elements, this tactile look works so well together. Love the addition of the timber wall tiles that tie in with the timber counter and the timber and metal stools to add that industrial feel! The custom made canopy over the cooktop adds a lighter feel than the more clunky island style. To sum it up in one word "Bellísimo"

Freestanding baths are so very popular at present, make a statement and give you the sense of luxury that you are in a retreat or day spa. Apart from the totally freestanding type there is also a back to wall style. The traditional freestanding style needs more room to be able to clean behind it, whereas the back to wall eliminates this and uses less space. Instead of an otherwise ordinary bathroom or ensuite, with a little more planning add this hero to the new home or renovation that you are venturing into.

15.01.2022 In the last few months we have been asked by some clients if we could add a barn door somewhere in their new home that we are designing. Despite their name, barn doors are very much in demand and add a contemporary look to your interior and make it easier for you to connect the various spaces in your home. They are space savers by not swinging open and they are wonderful in settings where you want to conceal things but still have quick access to. An obvious place to have a barn door is in a tight area where a standard door is not workable, think beyond the norm and add character. All you need is enough wall space for the door to take up while not in use. There are many different styles and I have chosen three modern images to show how fantastic they can look.
