18.01.2022 10 Practical Tips for Freelance Writing Beginners http://ed.gr/ccfm6

15.01.2022 At last, I'm back connecting with you. COVID sent my freelance writing business in a spin from busy to frantic. Time spent researching how to become an online freelancer paid off. The strategies included discovering my best 9 am - 5 pm skills to freelance, knowing where to find clients and for clients to find me, how to be productive, and avoiding distractions, even with kids homeschooling. Becoming a freelancer is the best career move ever. Step 1: Discover your best skills to freelance.

13.01.2022 With new technologies, online and remote working becoming more acceptable, becoming a freelancer on the side or full time will ensure you remain in control and future proof your income. Think of how many skills you have but don't use. Are you an accountant? My guess is you are also a project manager, a business analyst, an administrator. If you write in your 95 job, my guess is you can also edit, proofread, and write reports across many subject areas. These are all freelanc...e skills. Are you a teacher? Then you can freelance. Become an online tutor, a coach or mentor. So many young people are seeking subject-specific tutors at school and university. Others are seeking tutoring support to gain a scholarship or pass an entrance exam. Freelancing gives you a new start, and who would have thought this possible? From redundant to refreshed and renewed with you in control. You can freelance wherever you live, whether you are a morning person or a night owl, and the best is thing is you choose when and where you work. Do you want side income? Maybe it's time to transition from the 95 and work part-time or freelance full time, earning more in fewer hours. The question is, what do you want?

12.01.2022 I'm soon to be releasing my book Savvy Experts Online and in the process thinking about all elements of my branding. What does Savvy Experts Online mean to you? If you are thinking about a new business, my research tells me there are several must-have elements for a brand and one is to make it "Timeless". ... My brand "Savvy Experts Online" is focused on how experts can transition their skills, knowledge, and experience online. Think of Oprah, her brand is not Oprah rather it is, ananym, where the letters are reversed, i.e., "Harpo". Oprah is without any doubt a success story, she is her brand and "Harpo" has become somewhat redundant. Let's think of another successful woman...Naomi Simson. She was a judge on the TV program "Shark Tank". Like Oprah, I know Naomi by name, not her brand which is "Red Balloon". "Red Balloon" and "Harpo" are successful businesses, but are the brands " Timeless"? I'm learning we can get caught up in the "shoulds" of business. I think just get started, measure, and ask your intended audience what they think. If you are a professional and considering creating a side gig online what does "Savvy Experts Online" convey to you. I'd love your opinion.

11.01.2022 Thinking of the transition to a side gig? You won't be alone, thats for sure. that's

10.01.2022 Why Brand-New Freelancers Should Focus On Quick Wins As a new freelancer, one of the most important things you need to do is focus on quick wins. In the beginning, it’s all about establishing your minimum viable credibility on the platform. And the way you build your credibility is by racking up five-star reviews. So, instead of focusing on long-term jobs, I suggest taking the opposite approach: focusing on short-term jobs that you can finish quickly.... Many of the most successful freelancers discount their rates, in the beginning, to ensure they get five-star reviews quickly. They tell potential clients that they aren’t brand new to the type of work and skills required, but because they’re new to the freelance platform, they’re willing to do the job for a discounted rate to build their good reviews. This doesn’t mean you’ll work for pennies on the dollar; it means you might discount your service by 25% or 30% of what you would like to charge. And this doesn’t last forever; it is only a temporary strategy to build your five-star reviews. By Nick Tubis http://ed.gr/ccfm4
