25.01.2022 Over this weekend I had the pleasure of attending the Business Solutions Summit in Melbourne with keynote speaker Naomi Simson, the owner of Red Balloon and panelist on Shark Tank. A lot was learnt in the branding space as well as a great session on UX design and by some of the other presenters in my business space that I can pass on to my clients.

25.01.2022 I really enjoyed creating this logo / brand for Moto Mum. Working within the grunge style for this great business concept of feminine attire for mums and women in the sport of motocross was fun. The results look awesome on the caps.

22.01.2022 The lovely Kim Hendricks asked me to completely overhaul her brand. She wanted something modern and professional and easily transferable to all her marketing. I worked on a brand that could easily be identified as Citadel in both her First Aid side of the business but also her Work, Health Safety side. Using colour palettes of purples/burgundy and Aqua/Teals i was able to produce aligned micro brands. 18.01.2022 In 2015 Google announced that a change in their algorithm would mean mobile-friendly sites will feature more prominently in mobile search results. This in fact has been a slow rollout on Googles part while they have been testing sites they deemed suitable. 3 years on, google is in fact getting closer to a full scale roll out. Did you know? Mobile is now the most used medium for searches according to a report in 2016 by Hitwise. The percentage as high as 60%. Is your website Mobile friendly? Dont want to risk falling lower on Googles search rankings? Here is a great blog on what it all means.

05.01.2022 It is a simple fact that design goes through trends and often trends cycle. As a designer, some of my favourite trends are coming back this year. Check out some of the trends. One of the trends that is becoming very requested of late is multiple brand colour schemes allowing a brand much more diversity across many media platforms and markets.

04.01.2022 A recent Logo design for Sarah Wood from Hills Family Therapy. Some beautiful natural earth tones were used in this branding palette. The intertwining circles represent the circles of lifes relationships and where each overlaps and crosses over with each to create the bigger picture. Sarah focuses on early childhood (0-5) as it is important window for early intervention in families in a calm, relaxed, safe, non-judgmental, confidential space.
