24.01.2022 As Melbourne moves into Stage 4 COVID-19 restrictions from midnight tonight (5th August 2020), Savy Motorsport would like advise that we can continue to trade as usual from 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday, in line with government regulations. Whilst our workshop will be closed to the public during this 6-week period, we are still happily processing all your online, email and telephone orders as received. All deliveries and pick-ups will be by contactless arrangement or courier. Stay strong and safe everyone!

13.01.2022 Been a little while coming, but we have a range of Holden V8 fabricated aluminium sumps coming to market. We have made and sold some dry sump pans and now we ar...e producing some wet sump pans for external oil pump plumbing only. The first one we have made is to suit a Commodore, but we are happy to make HQ and Torana style on request. We are also happy to make pans to suit Torque Power blocks. Just give us a call and place your order for 2-3 weeks delivery time. These pans have baffles, gates and windage trays all included. Please note, we have made these wet sump pans for EXTERNAL oil pumps - they do not have provision for a standard style internal pick-up. These wet sump pans will retail for $1950 inc GST. 11.01.2022 Whilst this is an embarrassing confession to make publicly, we need to share our experience in the hope that no other businesses suffer the same fate as us... This is a true story. Yesterday it became obvious that we had fallen victim to an international shipping scam. Our bank reversed almost $9k of funds we had received via credit card payments from a (seemingly legit) purchaser in Dubai. When we first received an email from the purchaser back in November 2019, we were wa...ry of the interaction, but in the months that followed, negotiating the final products for purchase, we thought that it all checked out ok. The kicker should have been when the purchaser advised they had a preferred international shipper, and gave us email details of this agent, also in UAE. The next issue was that the purchaser wanted to pay the shipping fees by credit card, and the shipping agent apparently didn't accept credit cards, so would it be ok if we included the quoted shipping fees on our invoice and they pay us everything upfront and we then on-pay the shipping agent by EFT? Again, I can't deny we were wary, but the emails from shipping agent and the website appeared legit. We processed full payment from purchaser with a credit card via our EFTPOS machine and all monies were received in our account. We then on-paid the shipping fees (almost $3k) to the agent via EFT, using details provided on a tax invoice from the shipping agent. We then received a disturbing email from our Bank advising that the credit card payments we had processed on our EFTPOS machine were being disputed by the card holder. I made email contact with the purchaser and shipping agent to advise this, and said that no product would leave until the funds were confirmed. Needless to say, we have not had contact with either party since then, and now a month later, the bank has reversed the monies we received. So we are down $9k in the bank, and doubt we will see the $3k paid to the bogus freight company account by EFT. This whole ordeal has really shaken my trust in selling anything overseas, and I am also so embarrassed and annoyed at being taken for a ride (I thought I was smarter than that... ) but hopefully by sharing our story, no others fall victim to scum scammers like this. https://www.scamnet.wa.gov.au//Scam_types-Buying_or_sellin
