05.01.2022 The Link Project - Ground Breaking October 1 On Thursday 1st October 2020, Sawtell Catholic Care held an official ground breaking for the upcoming Link Project. Our CEO Michael Darragh, was joined by Fr Michael Alcock, Chairman of the board Mr David Robson, Deputy Mayor of Coffs Harbour Mr George Cecato and local member of parliament Mr Gurmesh Singh, along with Steve McGrath from Coffs Harbour Council, our SCC staff, and residents of our SCC community in commemorating the ne...w beginning for this much loved site formerly Cockbain's Sawtell Nursery. The link facilities will host programs and events designed to foster the growth of an intergenerational and connected 'living' community both for SCC residents, as well as older people within the wider region. The development of this project will generating employment opportunities in the local area with FM Glenn having won the tender for the construction.
