22.01.2022 Hey Cyclones 5m hill update Rain rain and more rain has slowed the projects progress but we have managed to get the gate in the pit . Thanks to the club members who continue to help getting this project over the line. ... Also thanks to the continuing efforts of the grounds crew looking after the grass cutting. 19.01.2022 Hey Cyclones 5m hill update At last the sun is shining Electrical work and the rear ramps and stairs installation are now being undertaken. Please have a look at the pictures attached. We are looking for some members interested in assisting with the track build in the coming weeks. If you are available to assist after the 27 January 21 please message the club so we can arrange timing etc. ... Thanks CCBMX Committee

16.01.2022 Hey Cyclones Next week will see some track work being undertaken at the Club after Australia Day.. The track will be CLOSED to the public at this time and remain Closed and covered with black plastic in places to protect the work until the final surface is applied. It is critical that no bikes are used on the new areas of the track covered in plastic or bunted off. Construction will be via a contractor (Blaze Earthworks) Wednesday, Thursday and finishing Friday. Sic...Surface will be applying the final surface early February. The Club will need its fantastic member helpers this coming Friday (29/1) afternoon/nite and Saturday (30/1) to assist with final track dressing. Weather dependent . Please message the Club if you can help. We will need 1) Roll car driver’s x 2 2) People on finishing screens x 4 3) People priming the surface x 2 4) Runner x1 If we can get additional members that will be fantastic, but the minimum help is as above. Please note additional working bees will be called In February/ March to get the facility up and running after the build. The club will need it members to be proactive over the next few months, all hands on deck please keep an eye out for the working bees CCBMX Committee

04.01.2022 Hey Cyclones 5m Hill update Today work was undertaken on the new gate electronics and compressor air line. The wiring of the new gate system was largely completed and the installation of the air line was finalised ... A massive thank you to our fantastic club members and volunteers Tim, Kylie and Heath for getting the job done Also thank you to John and Gail for their continued efforts assisting the Club, what fantastic Club support. Update on track work this week: Due to the pending rain the earth works did not occur today. The contractor will make the call over the next few days as to when this work will take place. Thank you Blaze’s Earth Works for ensuring that the Club gets the best results Club members please keep an eye on the page to see the adjusted working bee schedule. Please message the Club when requested to advise your availability as we need to plan these significant works to ensure the efficient use of your time to get the best results. Please respect any barriers and black plastic to protect the surface until the final track surface is completed. ... It is anticipated that there will be disrupted track access until the end of the month but the Club will try its best to provide as much availability as possible for its members.
