22.01.2022 There are NO NEW COVID-19 CASES and NO ACTIVE CASES in our local health district - which extends from Laurieton to Woolgoolga and west to Dorrigo. More than 35,...000 tests have been conducted in our region since February and we encourage anyone, even with the mildest of symptoms, to get tested. It's been 117 days since our last COVID-19 case here on the Mid North Coast and although this is fantastic news, we need everyone to keep up the good work. Please keep your distance (or wear a mask if you can't), wash your hands regularly and if you're unwell get tested and stay at home. Your efforts are helping to protect our community. Thank you! 03.01.2022 Thursday 24 July 2020 LOCAL CASES No change to the number of local cases since my last update. (2 active cases - both are in quarantine in Sydney)... NEW COVID-19 COMPLIANCE MEASURES FOR RESTAURANTS AND CAFES From 12:01am Friday 24 July, restaurants and cafes will now have to register as a COVID-Safe Business with ServiceNSW, and also digitise records of customers within 24 hours. This is in line with what pubs and clubs have been doing, and will aid in contact tracing in the event of a local outbreak. For restaurants who wish to automate this process, there are many online providers of this service. There is also a free option with Google Forms and you can create a QR code to print on your door or menu. Paper sign-in is still permitted, but the records must be digitised within 24 hours. STAY SAFE Wash your hands Use hand sanitizer (carry one with you) Write down the correct contact details when you go out <>Maintain physical distancing For more information go to https://www.nsw.gov.au/COVID-19
