25.01.2022 It’s our last playgroup for the year and Santa is coming! Sneak a gift wrapped with your child’s name on it to Kel first thing, if you haven’t already. Bring along a plate to share a Christmas morning tea. See you at the Hall at 10am.

24.01.2022 We are meeting again tomorrow at 10.00am at the Sawtell Anglican Church for some Valentine day card making. Sarah will open up and I will be there around 10.30 to start the activity. See you all then - Kel

23.01.2022 Dear Playgroup NSW community, With the NSW Government restrictions having changed on 1 June 2020, we would like to provide an update on Playgroup NSW’s progress related to returning to face to face Playgroup. While the restrictions have been relaxed, these do not apply to playgroups just yet.... We acknowledge there have been a number of questions about returning face to face and we share your excitement to get back to playgroup. Our key priority is ensuring that all of our children and families can return as safely as possible and that we have a plan to address hygiene requirements and venue considerations. We are working rapidly on a Return to Playgroup plan that caters to supported playgroups and community playgroups, and look forward to sharing more on this with you shortly. In the meantime, our digital delivery of playgroups is going well, and we encourage you to reach out if you have not yet had access to participate in a digital playgroup. 23.01.2022 Hi there everyone. Tomorrow is excursion day. We are heading down to the reserve for some free play at the park and swims. Bring your swimmers, hat, sunscreen, snacks and water. It’s $5.00 to get into the park and you can get coffee and food from the cafe. I won’t be able to attend and Rebecca will be there at 10.30.

22.01.2022 Hi guys. I am really close to getting playgroup up and running again. I have 2 people who have put their hand up to help with playgroup. If I can get 1 to 2 more that would really help spread the load. Covid has affected us all and having the playgroup would be a fantastic way for Mums, Dads and our kids to reconnect. 21.01.2022 We are off to the butterfly house tomorrow for an excursion. I won’t be there as I have family visiting but everyone will meet at 10am. Detail below and have a fun time and see you next week.

20.01.2022 Hello all. I have returned early and safely from India but am in self quarantine for 2 weeks. I am well but need to quarantine as per new regulations. In light of this and also new social distancing I think it best to suspend all further playgroups until the start of Term 2 begins on the 28th of April. I will keep you all updated if there are any changes to this and hope you are stay safe and sane in these crazy times.

18.01.2022 Good evening all. Due to the ongoing restrictions with Covid 19 we are suspending all playgroup sessions until Playgroup NSW advise us otherwise. I hope you are all well and keeping sane in this crazy time and look forward to seeing you hopefully soon. Once I have the go ahead from Playgroup NSW I will post up the start of term 2. 13.01.2022 Hi there everyone. My computer has died and the schedule for this term is on it. Let meet at the hall tomorrow for some free play. Chris will open up and I will see you all at 10.30 at the Church.

13.01.2022 I have had some great news that playgroup will be allowed to start up again after school holidays. I am looking for people to take over the playgroup as I will now be unable to go. I have started at Uni and Lotte will now go to daycare on Tuesdays to allow for me to have a study day. So to ensure that we can still provide this great service to the lovely people in our comminity I am looking for volunteers to take over. I will help to get you up and running with Covid safety and then you can just do casual meetings or you can plan craft and activities. I just would really hate to see this playgroup close as I have been involved for 5 years. Please message me or call me if you are interested. I need someone to potentially take over from the start of next term.

12.01.2022 Hi guys. I have friends staying with us from Brisbane tomorrow. Can anyone run tomorrow as I would like to take them to the dolphins marine place. I have the sprout seeds otherwise you can just do free play.

11.01.2022 Morning all. Playgroup as they go ahead to start up again. The only problem is that I cannot run it anymore as I have started University and my little one is in daycare that day. I am desperately seeking volunteers to keep this playgroup running. It’s been one of the longest Playgroup’s in this area and I would be super sad if it closed down. There is not much to do and you could just rotate with others to open and close the hall on the Tuesday. Playgroup is such an essent...ial service to our local community and I have meet some amazing life long friends here. If you can help out please let me know ASAP so we can open again. 08.01.2022 Good afternoon all. I have contacted the Anglican Church to see when they expect to rent the church for groups again. There are still many restrictions in place so we have decided to not return next Term. Please check out the online groups and perhaps when Term 3 start up we could meet out at the Sawtell caravan park for an outside play and catch up.

07.01.2022 Hi everyone. We are looking for some people to join out committee. I am looking to gradually step out of the committee this year and would like to work with the new committee before I leave which will be around mid year. I will probably be starting to work a Tuesday here and there after June this year so I really need volunteers to keep this wonderful Playgroup going. Please let me know if you are interested- Kelly

05.01.2022 Hi there guys. In preparation for our last playgroup with Santa can everyone bring a wrapped present on Tuesday with their child’s name on it. I have organised Santa to pay us a visit on the following week and he will hand our these to our little ones. We are at the Anglican Church in Sawtell on Tuesday do see you all then.

02.01.2022 Hi Mamas, Dads and grandparents! Kel is working on getting a Covid safe, fresh faced playgroup with a fresh committee up and running at the hall sometime soon. In the meantime, would anyone be interested in some casual park dates? Tomorrow (Tuesday 13th) we are going to hit up the playground at the Sawtell Caravan Park at 10am.
