24.01.2022 My second ever client told me: I am trying my best managing my social accounts, but as you can see it looks all over the show and to be honest, I just want to do what I love and not stress about that part of the business. It is ok to feel like that. So many business owners feel so passionate about their business that they absolutely want to do their own social media and they do it well, others would love to do it, but it becomes stressful and then the passion seeps out of it and it might show on your social accounts. If you are the latter, there is no problem in asking for a little help. Managing social accounts well is very time consuming, it is ok to outsource that part of the business, just make sure you find a good fit for your business so that it is an extension of YOUR team.
23.01.2022 My husband totally has to up his game! I do get a coffee every morning, but it’s not smiling. In all seriousness, I would love to do shout out to my wonderfully supportive husband who hands me a fresh coffee as soon as I wake up and now that he is working from home, hangs out with the kids for an hour before his work day starts. ... Thanks my darling husband, now tomorrow hand me a smiling cup of coffee ;) I hope you have someone that can support you in your business or daily life. Support looks different for everyone. 19.01.2022 Oh how times have changed. I have lived in the era where phones had cords and I had to beg my mom to call my friend and everyone looking at each other when the phone rings who is going to get it. The one thing I have learnt is that humans are so adaptable. I look at my not so very technical mom, loving her Facebook. She only types in CAPITAL LETTERS, but hey, she speaks pretty loudly in real life anyway. Make sure your marketing strategy is also adapting to modern times. Social media channels can be very valuable for your business. Businesses in some industries don’t have a website as most of your clients come from word of mouth and social channels. If this is you, it is super important you manage your social channels well. You've got this!!! Have a great day
18.01.2022 This is more important than ever, because for many, it is a little harder to stay positive and focused in the current lockdown circumstances. Try identify a positive thought for the day, first thing in the morning and see if it makes a difference. This can also be a thought of thanks. ... This morning I am thankful for having my husband work from home and more time with my kids. I am also pretty grateful for coffee. 10.01.2022 This is so true Ok, you get the odd grumpy ball, but in most cases if your face lights up, you have the power to light up someone else's face. The world is in so much need for some love, care, empathy, encouragement and smiles.... Show some love and kindness, support a small business, go comment an encouraging word on their feed. It takes a teeny bit of time, but you don't know who needs that extra bit of love today. Ok enough mushiness, I am off to go spread some
09.01.2022 GUILTY According to Iconosquare, 70% of Instagram users look up a brand they discover on Instagram? I have so often come across a brand and then start seeing it more and more and more in my feed and wham... I am in... DO NOT under estimate the strength of social media. You might not get immediate results, but keep on engaging and posting content your target market wants to see and slowly you are creeping into hearts.
08.01.2022 I love to do so many things and my mind is full of ideas. When I became a mom and gave up my corporate role with Emirates Group, I pursued my hobby of photography. I made a good little business from it and got to spend hours with new born babies, meet amazing families and have so much cake scattered over my floor with cake smash shoots. I loved it, but I REALLY missed marketing. My passion. So when we moved to Australia, it was between starting my photography business he...re or pursue my love for marketing. THIS WAS THE QUESTION I ASKED MYSELF. And pursuing my marketing career is totally been the right decision. Oh how I missed it and although I am not sure I miss the corporate world, I miss the creativity, the results and engagement that comes with it all. So ask yourself: Is what you are doing today getting you closer to where you want to be tomorrow?
