25.01.2022 Shifting @nocturnalnutrition with a brand refresh. Amy of Nocturnal Nutrition came to Say-So looking to uplevel the businesses brand. For current branding felt DIY'd and not that cohesive, professional look needed to showup as a quality service offering. So we...... Tidied up the brand logo and mark and created consistency among them. Created a font suite which included a voice font. Created a colour set that was influenced by the variety of shift working services and the changing of a shift (sunrise and sunset). Designed a set of social templates that added personality and encouraged consistency. Rolled out the fresh new visual brand into the eNewsletter templates. Nothing like a little refresh to revitalise your brand and make it look . #designedbysayso #saysocreative #brandrefresh #creativestudio @ Darwin, Northern Territory

17.01.2022 GirlFriday Wall Planner Congratulations to @girlfridayplanner on the launch of her 3rd product since launching in March. Introducing the Luxxxe A2 Undated Wall Planner. Printed on @colorplan_papers Mist 275gsm, she is minimal with a little pep in her step.... The planner came out of the development of another product in the works. We fell in love with it, that we knew it had to grace the walls of offices and homes. #designedbysayso #smallbusiness #sunshinecoastbusiness #girlfridayplanner @ Sunshine Coast, Queensland

17.01.2022 Here at Say-So we love supporting our clients doing awesome things! @rlssupportservices launched a social program that brings people together in a safe space that motivates, encourages and builds confidence in it's participants. When I heard of the program and its name, I had to give it it's own identity. Something on brand, that had a sense of playfulness and represented the idea that even though we are all different we can still come together and connect.... No charge, just because we value our clients and what they do.

14.01.2022 If 2020 has taught us anything, it's to accept change. In the form of pivoting, adapting, trusting and growing with it. Hands up if you don't like change . Yup! It's scary right? The unknown, the what if, the consequences, the fear of something new and different. ... News flash! Change is the most consistent thing in this journey we call business and life. It's something we can't avoid. So what if, instead of leaning into those thoughts and anxieties above, you jumped head first into change? What would it mean for you... Personal Growth? Success? Shifted perception? Failure? (We learn our biggest lessons in failure). Progress? New beginnings? So pretty good right? So here is to embracing and jumping head first into change. Because the potential results outweigh the 'what if'... and feels darn good!

13.01.2022 The biggest thing I've learnt in 4 years of business... RESILIENCE! This time last year I was attending job interviews because business was so bad. I was at a point of giving it all up.... But with each interview it resparked that fire within and reminded me why I love Say-So. The client interaction, the creative freedom, the flexibility to be there when my family needs, the thrill and the challenges of business. This year is a completely different story. I vowed to make 2020 my b*tch. And I did!! Despite the challenges 2020 has thrown at the world, I'm very thankful that this 4th year in business has been the beat yet. I launched a fundraising campaign for the Aus Fires which raised $1,800 for Wires and Salvos. Initiated a grant for small businesses effected by the impacts of COVID. I've Worked with & cont. to work with 28 incredible clients. Consistently booked months in advanced. Reached 6 figures in revenue - hello GST! Bought a house in the middle of COVID. Launched my new offering Ready Set Say-So. Invested in the business and self with @baybradfield @wordfetti @the.founders.team @kristygray__ @readcity Brought on a wonderful new young gun of a designer Tori. With this there also has been some challenges and many many lessons learnt and the ability to be resilient is one of them! I'll be bringing you that pot of wisdom over a series of blog posts coming soon. But for now it's time to pop the champagne and ride out the rest of 2020 in style! Happy Birthday Say-So!

10.01.2022 Another lap around the sun calls for a cheeky croissant for breaky. This pooch is the esult of late night concepts for new cafe/ espresso bar on the #sunshinecoast. Loving that illustration is starting to filter through our work here at Say-So.... #designedbysayso

10.01.2022 Who said business cards are dead! They are the best asset to showcase your brand, make a connection & a tangible impact in a digital world. Nothing like watching a new connection go gaga over your card, right @freshstudiosasia?

09.01.2022 GirlFriday Planner brings another set of sidekicks to help you through the daily grind of business and life! Over the past month I've been workong with Chloe of GirlFriday to create products that compliment the GF Planner. First up a set of Notepads! A4 Signature Daily for GirlFriday and ManFriday. Perfect for planning the day ahead, as a note jotter or project to-do list.... A5 Signature Jotter. Perfect to keep by your side to capture any thoughts, ideas, or meeting notes. A4 Signature Weekly. The weekly spread from the planner made into a notepad so you can pre-plan your week for the family or business, rip it off and pop it on your fridge or corkboard. And the game changer... Meal Planner and Shopping List in one. I have been using this for the past month and instead of using a shopping list pad and a meal planner pad, it's conveniently in one. Tear off the list to take to the shop and pop the plan on the fridge! We are currently working on a few more exciitng things but you are just going to have to waite!

07.01.2022 Hello 2021! I'm so ready for you. I have closed all new equiries for 2020 as we focus on our current clients & their incredible projects and make space for current enquiries in the pipeline. There is only 12 weeks left in the year and let's be honest... 2021 will be here in a hot minute. Jan/ Feb 2021 is now open for new enquiries. We are doing things a little differently next year, which means limited places each month.... You ready to say so? Get in touch to get the conversation started.

07.01.2022 It's been a wild couple of weeks with it not settling down anytine soon. #bringonchristmas Lots of projects to wrap up for the year, products to print, websites to launch and some new branding and graphic design projects to get underway. I know I keep saying it but I REALLY can't wait to show you what we have been up to. So I'll leave you with this sneaky peak that I'm oh so excited about! #designedbysayso #saysocreative

03.01.2022 Hello? Is it me your looking for? Did you know that it's only 4 weeks until the new year? So that leave it for next year mentality ain't gonna cut it when it comes to getting your biz prepped for the new year. It's been a huge year and it's hard to focus on whats next and allocate the time review and evaluate, trust me I know!... But soon enough Jan will lead into Feb, then lead into March and then hello Easter!!! So where am I going with this? Basically if you would love to work with Say-So on any of the above, now is the time to lock it in Larry! Because firstly, you don't want to have to think about it over the chrissy break and you can kickstart the new year with your projects and branding secured. And secondly, our prices are going up (just a smidge) start December 18th 2020. So if you would like to start the conversation let's chat! We are also open for new partnerships! So if your business needs a branding & design go to, just say so.

02.01.2022 S N E A K P E A K / A branding project for a new cafe on the #sunshinecoast which will be revealed in the new year. For the brief I was given the name of the cafe and the internal renders. That's it! So what happens when you get a minimal and open brief.... Firstly, ask questions. Questions that might help spark some ideas. Is there a story behind the name? who are you targeting? what is the menu like? what music will be playing? I then created my own brief based on what information I had. I then choose an element from what information I had and explored it & researched it. For this one I came up with a concept around the name of the cafe, influenced by the internal fit out and it's target audience. But you'll just have to wait and see the result. #designedbysayso
