25.01.2022 @alekhoskins installed some new coilovers recently. We finished off the set-up and then completed a rather agressive street alignment for the ex-SB car NC1. Alek has it looking schmick, lucky we still get to see it from time to time.

24.01.2022 Meet another great local business! ....Father and son combo Stephen and Curran from SB Automotive The business has been running since 1949, yes thats 70year...s! And the teams combined industry experience is close to 100 years! It all started in Hurleston Park after WW2 with Stephens grandparents and the business has remained in the family the entire time. Theyve been in this new home for 2 years and have retained the majority of their customers, many who are decades old! After 70yrs they still love the satisfaction of solving a difficult mechanical problem and their customers love how they explain the details of the repair, what caused it, what was done and how to prevent or preserve it going forward. One of their mantras is to Always do the right thing by everyone! In a sentence, they provide a comprehensive maintenance program for a vehicle, backed with service and with a huge emphasis on customer satisfaction. They stand out due to their vast experience and comprehensive approach, ensuring everything is done to the letter and absolutely no short cuts or corner cutting! With their huge range of diagnostic equipment they are well known as being the place great mechanics go when they need help themselves and because they are still involved in racing their engine rebuilds and wheel alignments are second to none. As Curren says when your doing 240km in a race, you know if your alignment is top notch or not! I also found out their film/TV links to the Peter Brock documentary, A Country Practice and many others (but youll have to ask them yourself...) I also got the scoop (and required diagram) behind the Stevens & Brennan family business name. They are passionate about racing and modifications and I loved their memorabilia cabinet detailing both their triumphs and history! They are also supporters of the great work that Miracle Babies do. The near future involves ramping up their on line and web presence allowing their new hire facility allowing part timers and DIYers access to their tools and expertise. 15.01.2022 Always hard to hand over the keys to machine youve spent years crafting, but Alek didnt bend it (despite his best attempts, who needs to brake for turn two right?), so we might let him have another go

11.01.2022 We cannot stress the importance of regular maintenance and routine check ups enough. This car came in late last week with squeaky belts and you can probably see why. We are amazed these belts have held on this long as they were split and hard as plastic.
