24.01.2022 Flashback to golden winter afternoons with Soph and Nic

22.01.2022 Well, it’s been a hot minute kicking back off my little hiatus between posts with beautiful Sophie, getting ready with her girls.

20.01.2022 Just married Dusk on Magnetic Island on Saturday with these two dreamboats, Brittany and Jacob

19.01.2022 A peek of my session with Baby Albie I feel so lucky to have captured so many beautiful memories for Kerri and her sweet family over the years. Meeting baby Albie made my heart melt!! He looks just like his mumma. Wait til you see the photos with his twin brothers x

18.01.2022 Are you on Instagram? I've finally started a separate Instagram page where I can just share moments I document with my beautiful families!! Follow along at @sbcreativeco_families I've captured so many special memories over the years that aren't just weddings, so it's time I share more. I'll still have only the one Facebook page, so I'll be sharing more often here... both weddings, and families! SB ... xx See more

15.01.2022 Rach and Brendon I felt so lucky to document this day and capture another special milestone for the now Mr and Mrs Jackson! I’ve been so lucky to capture both of their sons, Shepherd and Fletcher as newborns and now the celebration of their 16 years of love to add to the memories! These two are both so deserving of a day that was to simply celebrate them, and the love and admiration from their friends and family was palpable. Anyone else picking up on a little New Zealand vibes that I was feeling? I had to keep telling myself we were in Queensland! Loved this day and so happy for these two! X

14.01.2022 Stephanie and Sam ONE whole year since my visit to Dalby to capture this day under the tulips on Steph’s family property. Beautiful people; epic colour pop styling, and an amazing team of vendors to work along side made this day so rewarding to capture (especially @theperfectpartyco and @jarod.lucas !)... Happy anniversary, you guys

12.01.2022 Sigourney I can hear the shutter click taking this photo... I loved this frame of Sigourney the very moment I took it! It was a calm moment right after her first look with her half, Bo; and moments before she turned to look out the window to see her guests arriving by bus for their ceremony. Brings back all the wedding feels for me, and I can’t wait to get back into the swing of things again soon. X

11.01.2022 Feels now restrictions are starting to ease am I right?! love the layer of faces in this photo of Berin and Claire at their reception inside Melbourne’s beautiful GPO building at @altoeventspace ! I’m ready for all the epic speeches this year .... I’m starting to shoot lots of beautiful families again (for those messaging to ask, I have always shot families during the week before covid, but am terrible at sharing!) but I do miss weddings! It’s been nice to enjoy the weekends a little at a cooler time of the year for me, but I’m hanging out for the days when my couples get to do enjoy these moments again!

09.01.2022 SIGOURNEY AND BO celebrating marriage, and the day that turned out to be their Plan B. Going back to November (before any word of Covid) we all woke to the news that the beautiful Fig Tree Restaurant in Byron Bay was devastated by fire overnight. This was Sigourney and Bo’s venue. I remember chatting to Sigourney on the phone afterwards like it was yesterday, just after they found out the news. I’m not sure I’d be so calm and collected as these two were, but they took it i...n their stride and got plan B rolling. Fast forward a few days and some wonderful vendors they celebrated marriage like this! A lunch time wedding and an afternoon sipping espresso martini’s at the beautiful @newrybardowns . The afternoon was so fun and relaxed; anyone that was there will vouch for that! You’d never guess it wasn’t like they had first planned. It’s just proof that Plan B doesn’t have to always be second best to Plan A it’s what you make it! See more

06.01.2022 Bridesmaids and blooms TAG your best girls who’ll be standing beside you this year or next holding your bouq for you at the end of the aisle!! xx

06.01.2022 I had the honour of capturing the sweetest afternoon with The Scott’s (and extended family) celebrating one very special birthday a few weeks ago! Actually, this was my first little celebration / gathering since ol Rona! The photos were organised by Lauren as a surprise for her mum, Leanne (both pictured in the second photo together). The kids played soccer, the adults drank wine and cheese between these snaps and I loved being there to document all of it! Just a peek of so many special photos x

06.01.2022 Effortless A portrait of Sigourney at @newrybardowns

05.01.2022 Flash back to this shoot today... while watching @gavincooper_ play his last game! All the best for tonight Gavin. Hopefully you get more time to spend more slow moments like this with your boys, Tenille, and your extended family who I was lucky enough to hang out with for the arvo.

05.01.2022 Aleesha and Tim the adoration they both share for each other is something else; so much so it’s quite hard to articulate. But it’s so beautiful to witness. I loved I crossed paths with these two special people! Blooms / St. Floral - The Secret Garden Dress / Grace Loves Lace MUA / @kr13tin ... Hair / Capelli Hair Gallery Film / Hudson Films See more

05.01.2022 Matt and Hugo it’s been a hot minute between sharing family photos too! Turns out... I’ve learnt recently that most of you didn’t realise that I’ve been capturing families for as long as I have been shooting weddings (that’s nearly 8 years full time!) ... Families aren’t a new addition because of COVID, I just started my @sbcreativeco_families page on Instagram (which shares here on FB) during COVID so I can share more with you all, and I’m so glad I did!

05.01.2022 GRATEFUL just a taste of Ben and Kathryn’s incredible day until I share more tonight How many peeks can I share in one day?! What a weekend... I started in Townsville for Emma and Scott’s beautiful day, jumped straight on a plane and wound up capturing this on a rooftop in Brisbane the next day. I have caught up on all my peeks and I have so many new photos to share with you, which wasn't what I thought I'd be saying not too long ago. We’re so fortunate here in Queensla...nd that weddings are still able to go ahead, and I’ve felt very grateful to have picked up the camera to shoot weddings again (unlike so many of my friends in the industry). I’m lucky enough to have what resembles half a wedding season at a usually quieter time of the year and so grateful [TAP for vendors]

04.01.2022 T I P : You probably wont notice straight away, but this photo was taken in a car park which leads me to one of my biggest tips! Try not to over think where you ‘go’ for photos on your wedding day. If I’ve captured your wedding already - you may have heard me say you can take a good photo anywhere in good light! It’s so easy for us to overthink where we go for our wedding photos. And I say us - because I know how it feels now that I’m married! Turns out, I ended up jumpi...ng in an Uber with our photographers and actually wasn’t even sure where we were going on the day... and it was perfect! With that said, I’m not saying to not have a plan either. I always talk through the day with my couples and pop together a run sheet. It’s good to know where you’re roughly going, especially in smaller towns that it isn’t as easy to just ‘go for a stroll’ and get all the city vibes like in Melb or Sydney (which I just love doing in big towns!). But, but sometimes I find the most beautiful moments are the ones we don’t plan for ... it’s sometimes just all about the light (and choosing a photographer you trust!) X See more

04.01.2022 LUCA SO proud of himself for drawing a moustache mid Photoshoot!

03.01.2022 Your wedding perfume doesn’t have to be new I love Hannah’s bottle of Mojave was already well loved. It doesn’t have to be a perfect bottle, or a new scent. If you’re anything like me, I have different bottles of perfume that all remind me of a different time. And for you if bringing a familiar memory along to your day (perhaps one you wore when you first met) is something you’re doing, then it’s a big yes for me! x

01.01.2022 In home sessions are my favourite this is Minka on the swings at home, in her pajamas. I spent the morning with the Burger Family, and it was so special to capture just normal, everyday life. I love spending time with you with a camera, capturing moments you’ll FEEL when you look at them 10 years from now. Imagine looking back through a story of a regular morning together! We are always creating, doing and making memories with our families and it’s not until you look back on them, that you’ll realise how special they are

01.01.2022 Flashback to Liz and Paul One of those moments that you had to be there for... but you can still feel the energy right in this epic moment of their first dance! I love I still message these guys on occasion, even though this day was in 2017 [you blink and time flies by!] Paul even told me where to find the best Ramen in Melbourne on my last trip there, which has started my ramen obsession! Love these two!
