19.01.2022 Due to the supply issue of the standard Reel Bearing Housings (RLS5 bearing type) and the long term unavailability of the 20 larger housings (RMS5 bearing type) we have prototyped and been testing our new Reel Bearing Holders. Made from a single piece billet aluminium and CNC machined these offer the aesthetic look of the cast type but with far superior strength. Currently design in testing does slightly vary from old/original drawings you see here but as we like to ensure ...when ready for market they are ready and perfect. One benefit we already noticed is they do seem easier to adjust the reel with, we’ve put that down to the tighter.
