18.01.2022 This week our juniors students were introduced to the new 'Wondering Workshops'. It has been a very positive shift from investigations where the students are tuning in to their inquiry learning and wondering about 'Our Place in Space'. Our junior teachers have been doing a lot of learning and resourcing about how to implement our 'Wondering Workshops' successfully and they have done a great job. We are very proud of how the students have engaged in all the tuning in and finding out spaces in their teams.

15.01.2022 Online Gaming Many games can improve your child’s coordination, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills, as well as help build social skills through online interactivity with other players. But it is also important to understand what might go wrong and have a negative impact on your child. 06.01.2022 This year we have introduced a new student leadership program with our grade 5 students. This program is call 'The Moonshot Thinking Program'. This program is directed at supporting our prospective leaders as they move to year 6 to apply for leadership positions. The students work throughout term 4 to develop a project they are passionate about that identifies areas of our school they want to change or make better. They also can come up with new and innovative ideas to introduce into St Brendan's. They will prototype their idea and present it to their peers as part of their presentation when applying for their leadership position. We have started with identifying passions and ideas using hearts maps. All grade 5's are involved in this program and it has been great to see them supporting each other's ideas.
