24.01.2022 Who is buying stocks during the market fall? Insiders. Almost 1000 US corporate insiders (CEOs, Board Members, Execs) purchased around US$1bn worth of their own stock during the recent market selloff in March. This was the highest since October 2013. ... Really important to watch. Insiders buying their own stock is a sign that they believe things will turn and improve into the future. #investing #wealth - Peter Esho

12.01.2022 Working from home...short term option or long term trend? Here's what I think: 1) Over the past month, many of us have completely changed the way we think about working from home. Mostly from necessity. 2) But we've also realised how much more productive we can become when reducing the commute to and from work plus other office distractions. 3) There are a few obvious issues - time, noise, distractions etc. But these can be solved over time. ... 4) The biggest risk is to co-working spaces, who mainly tailor to small companies which can now start to explore an entirely remote work environment without the negative stigma it once had. 5) Traditional office will be late to the game, bigger companies are less agile. Big theme to watch over the next 10 years and it will impact how we invest in real estate. All of a sudden our home workspace becomes an important consideration - for home owners, tenants and their landlords. #workingfromhome #realestate - Peter Esho

09.01.2022 The Rebound: We're now in the early stages of the recovery, here's where I see business, career and investing opportunity: 1) The bounce back won't be even. It won't be fair or nice, it will be uneven and messy. It will be huge in some areas and absent in other areas. 2) Health and education will boom, travel will slump. 3) Revenue is king. ... 4) Residential real estate will bounce back thanks to low rates and limited new supply. 5) Commercial real estate has been terminally hit due to a big demand slump. Small is beautiful. 6) Banks, insurance, wealth, real estate, software companies will all start bringing jobs back onshore. Offshore has shown its vulnerability. 7) Don't listen to idiots. You can either focus on the past or look through to the future. Trust me, staying positive and looking for opportunity will pay off in 3-6 months time. Pick your new A-team - who you want to work with (employment, customers, suppliers, advisors, mentors etc). This is just my 2 cents, sharing these with you as I look forward to the new world that awaits us. Since things won't be even and pretty, let's all help and support each-other to ensure we build a bright future for everybody. Let's try our best to make sure nobody is left behind. - Peter Esho
