22.01.2022 Mamma Mia rehearsals this weekend! Although we are looking forward to rehearsals starting tomorrow, if you have been in the greater Brisbane area anytime since the 2 January please do not attend rehearsals this weekend. As per the advice from Dr Jeannette Young you have been asked to self isolate from 6pm this evening until 6pm Monday. If you cannot attend due to this change in circumstances, please contact Janette Pritchard or myself (SueD-R) as soon as possible.

21.01.2022 Our little witch was lucky enough to hear people Defy Gravity and *fly* at auditions today. Gosh we are blessed to be surrounded by such amazing talent. Don’t miss out on your chance to strut your stuff in the Emerald city. Book an audition for tomorrow at 5pm. Thank you to all our helpers - auditions have been running smoothly because of you.

21.01.2022 Thank you everyone for a fantastic day of auditions today. The talent we have in our community is outstanding. If you missed out on coming today, we will be having an additional session on Monday evening at 7pm in the Dance Room (S Block) at Kingaroy State High School. You must book for this session. 19.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who worked so incredibly hard at our Mamma Mia intensive weekend. It’s shaping up to be an awesome show already. For those of you who unfortunately had to isolate, we missed but are thankful that you are taking the COVID restrictions seriously. Please stay abreast of the Government announcements. The latest information is that you will need to wear masks to rehearsals for the time being.

17.01.2022 New restrictions across Queensland From 1am Tuesday 29 June, restrictions will be in place across these South East Queensland areas Brisbane Gold Coas...t Ipswich Logan Redlands Moreton Bay Scenic Rim Lockyer Valley Somerset Noosa Sunshine Coast Restrictions in SEQ include: Face masks must be worn when you're outside your home (excluding when in your private vehicle, when doing strenuous exercise or if you have a medical condition) Maximum 30 people can gather at home (including residents, visitors and children) Seated eating and drinking at cafes, restaurants and venues Weddings and funerals can have 1 person per 4 square metres or a maximum of 100 people. Dancing at weddings is limited to 20 people at any one time. Rest of Queensland From 1am Tuesday 29 June, if you have been in South East Queensland you must wear a face mask when you're outside your home. All restrictions will be reviewed on Tuesday 13 July. The creative team are Dancing through Life. We’re already looking forward to starting rehearsals. Audition preparation checklist: Provide email address so that we can send you an information package. Carefully read information package. Book an audition by texting Sue (0416 048 489) or sending a direct message through the South Burnett Musical Comedy Society News Facebook page. Familiarise yourself with the words and main melody of Abba’s Voulez Vous. Complete audition and COVID-19 forms (included in the information package), attach photo to forms. Don’t forget to bring these with you to the audition. Arrive at your audition at least 15 minutes early to sort out paperwork etc. Note: Due to COVID-19 arrangements, you must pre-book a time-slot for your audition. We will not be able to accommodate ‘walk-ins’ on the day.
