15.01.2022 The Broken Hill Small Business Association is collaborating with Broken Hill Food Court Administrator Georgie Blore to create a one-stop platform for the community to find menus and contact details for local food businesses. In a meeting with President Dylan Stone and Broken Hill Food Court Administrator Georgie Blore, the pair discussed and designed a plan which would allow all local food businesses to submit their menus to Ms Blore for her to include on the Facebook Page. ...It is a wonderful idea for our businesses to have a platform where they can put their menus and contact details on display so what they have to offer can be found in the one place. Ms Blore said. The President of the Broken Hill Small Business Association, Dylan Stone, celebrated this initiative as yet another achievement for the Small Business Association, following on from April’s launch of the contactless food delivery program by Broken Hill Property Services and June’s rental assistance campaign. Our collaboration with the local food businesses with respect to them providing their menus and contact details will allow customers to locate all of the excellent products our food businesses have from a central location. Mr Stone said. Customers will soon be able to search the Broken Hill Food Court’s Facebook page, and locate their favourite eateries’ menu and contact details quickly and easily, increasing the exposure and turnover of our local food businesses. Mr Stone continued. Small Business Association Vice President Phil O’Keefe said that in addition to the Facebook Page, the association is in discussions with other stakeholders to advertise the Broken Hill Food Guide. We’re talking with other bodies, so locals and tourists who do not have Facebook can still find all the information relating to the Broken Hill Food Guide. Mr O’Keefe said. The Small Business Association is asking all local food businesses to submit their menus to Georgie Blore via the FB page ‘Broken Hill Food Court’ by the end of next week to ensure the Broken Hill Food Guide is ready for launch on July 15 2020.
