10.01.2022 Last week all Year 9 students participated in 2 sessions facilitated by ParaQuad Tasmania and Physical Disability Sports Tasmania. The BodySafe program focused on the prevention of spinal cord injuries by discussing some risk taking behaviors and how we have the capacity to make better choices. The Physical Disability Sports allowed student to learn some fundamentals of wheelchair basketball, something that was new to all of them. Thanks to ParaQuad Tasmania and Physical Disability Sports Tasmania for such engaging and candid presentations.

09.01.2022 Surfing Lessons continue with the Sport for Girls 'B' class and Sport for Boys 'C'.

07.01.2022 The SATIS boys have finished the carnival with a win over St Pats in their final game. In their best performance with the bat the boys set a strong target of 137. They followed that up with some great bowling and fielding which included 2 run outs to win by 37 runs. The team was unable to account for a strong Scotch Oakburn this morning.... With two great days of cricket by our boys which included a nail biting game against St Virgils and the first win for a SATIS cricket team in a number of years the boys are heading back to Devonport pretty tired but very happy with how they have represented the College. Lachlan Murfet was named SBSC player of the carnival for his efforts with the bat and in the field. Special mention also to Josh McConnon, Toby Bellchambers, Lachlan Cowan and Lleyton Triffett for their contributions over the course of the last two days. The team would also like to thank Mr Sallese for coaching and transport and Jack Bradshaw for scoring all of the games.

06.01.2022 The SATIS boys are ready for their first game of the day against Scotch Oakburn. The boys will be searching for their first win of the tournament after finishing day one strong.

05.01.2022 Attention Netball players, please see the roster for this weekends games.
