24.01.2022 If you’ve lodged your tax return, you can track its status using our online services. But what do the different stages of processing mean? Below, we explain s...ome key terms you might see when checking the progress of your return. ‘In progress Information pending’: We’re obtaining further details required to complete the processing of your return. We’ll get in touch with you if necessary. ‘In progress Under review’: We’re reviewing your tax affairs, which may include prior-year assessments. You might hear from us if we need more info. ‘In progress Balancing account’: We’re balancing the result of your return with your tax accounts to calculate the refund we’ll issue or the amount you owe. We know you want your refund as soon as possible, but it’s important we go through these steps to protect you and the tax system. 18.01.2022 It is with great sadness that I share the news that Sudan, the last surviving male northern white rhino on the planet, has died. He passed away peacefully with ...his carer, Zachariah Mutai, by his side. It ended a long battle with degenerative joint problems that had recently taken their toll on the 45 year old. The hope of his species now rests with IVF and the last two northern white females. In the ongoing fight to save all rhinos from extinction, Sudan carried a beacon of hope so bravely for so long. But now as he rests, we must pick up the baton and continue the battle. RIP Sudan.
