21.01.2022 This was who I was channeling in class tonight - read up about her and the Suffrajitsu movement. Edith Margaret Garrud (18721971) was among the first female professional martial arts instructors in the Western world. She trained the Bodyguard unit of the Women's Social and Political Union (WSPU) in jujutsu self-defence techniques. #strongwomen

04.01.2022 Hey Team, Ive been to A&E in PZ following advice from a couple of you. THANKFULLY it is just ligament damage - they said I've done a really good job though I think I would have cried if it was broken, but they said within a week/10 days I should be better. If not I have to go back in or up to Treliske. ... I am going to be good and take the advice that I would give you all and rest up for a couple of days and see how I feel. So i'll update you which classes (if any are on this week). I'll send recorded classes to keep you busy in the meantime!! Ive attached some photos so you can see the extensive bruising and swelling - just so you all know its not me just skiving off because its half term and lovely weather. All the love and apologies. Like I said I'll keep you updated x x
