25.01.2022 Its great to our students being recognised on the efforts and our BJMA Nambour instructors lead by Sempai Jason Cornwell for their hard work.

23.01.2022 training last night was great. I got 3 sho dan ho's to teach the class something. they had 10 min slots. As their next step is full sho dan and instructor rank of Sempai, I wanted to see where they are on the instructor journey. I am pleased so say, not only did they step up, they excelled. I know that the future of our club is in good hands. if there was a training day on and neither Shihan Steve or myself couldn't make it they would confidently take the class. so proud of how everyone in the club is advancing and we have a true family feel in out fantastic club.

22.01.2022 Wow what a grading with 72 coloured belts grading I have had some time to reflect and process the comments made to me over the past few days. We are so lucky as instructors and students to be involced in BJMA, whilst its be a tough year for all of us and more so for our Victorian brothers and sisters the students who were there on Saturday showed so much courage,respect and emapathy towards each other no matter what ability. Thank you. BIG thanks to my instructors Sempai Jason Cornwell what he does with the guys at our Nambour Dojo is the next level thanks mate. Sempai Cath and Ray for helping me throughout the year i could not have done this with out you guys. Thanks Big thanks to all the parents and students for your continued support I am truely grateful i am so excited for next year.

16.01.2022 We are now ready for our guys to grade for their Brown Belts Black Belts and 1st Degree Black Belts. The hall is now ready and i am blessed to have so many guys in our club drop what they are doing on a friday and get the dojo ready. Nambour Dojo is now ready to show case our awesome students on the worldwide stage. Best of luck everyone

13.01.2022 As our club shirts say "Strength in Family" that's what BJMA Sunshine Coast is all about. We had 5 out of our 8 families who graded yesterday mums and dads and their children grading together. BJMA is stronger than ever as a family. We had 11 go for their Black Belts yesterday from our Maroochydore and Nambour clubs 4 for their 1st Degree and 3 for brown. We will have our coloured belts grade on the 21st November and looking forward to seeing the same strength and courage that was displayed yesterday. I am so proud and privileged to have the pleasure to train these guys and to be apart of their martial art lives.

09.01.2022 another good training night yesterday, we also have a new black belt called vincent, he was training under kyoshi Matt Ball, and has moved up to the sunshine coast. Welcome Vincent to our sunshine coast family

08.01.2022 Last week i gave some coloured belts the responsibility of taking a lower rank and teaching them. I knew they would be up to the task, but what I wasn't expecting, was the quality and the technical detail they were teaching. so proud of these guys, I can see some wonderful future instructors. I like to put people into simple teaching roles once they are 2 belts above the person they are showing and teaching, I find it makes a more rounded student as they learn more about themselves. Shihan Steve and myself are very impressed. I only had to intervene a couple of times otherwise the teaching was great. I could not get the grin off my face. Our club has an amazing variety of personalities, in both Jnr and Snr classes and the family feel is definitely there with no egos Onwards and upwards for the sunshine coast dojo. You guys rock

03.01.2022 Shihan steve and I would like to thank the parents who bring their kids up to our temporary Dojo in Nambour. It is really appreciated, Shihan steve is looking hard at getting a place back in the maroochydore area as soon as possible. Again a big thank you. To our senior students who travel a distance to train, we thank you also. It shows us who is really serious, who wants to get to black belt and above. true dedication, thanks again.
