23.01.2022 Scaliiwags Children's Centre is seeking a passionate dedicated experienced Early childhood teacher, the successful applicant will be required to assist with all aspects of providing high quality care and education to children 0-5. Have completed or studying an Early Childhood Degree at University or have completed a Diploma in early childhood education and care and be prepared to study early childhood teaching at university. The successful applicant will be knowledg...eable in all aspects of the NQF, have experience as room leader, be competent with all aspects of curriculum development and evaluation, have excellent communication skills and work within a team. Applicant to have a current working with children check number & first aid certificate with emergency asthma and anaphylaxis or be prepared to obtain. To be eligible, applicants must: be 18 years of age or above... not hold any other Certificate III or above be able to show initiative (complete routine tasks and seek additional tasks on own accord) be prepared to study Certificate III in Children’s Services be committed to a 12 month contract with potential for continued employment for the right person be willing to take direction and learn from motivated and passionate educators have excellent communication skills (written and spoken). be punctual and reliable have or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check number. And of course, the most important is to have a strong desire an passion to work with children aged 0-5.
