12.01.2022 With the help of 31 amazing volunteers (vets, nurses, final year vet students and shelter staff) our dedicated team gave their time to desex, microchip and register 32 local community cats who’s owners could not afford the cost of the procedure. This equates to approximately over 1200 less kittens born every year who would then continue the cycle year after year This was also a great teaching experience for our 13 vet student volunteers who got to fine tune their surgic...al skills under the watchful eyes of our vet supervisors. Our SCAR Free Cat Desexathon is just one way that our charity is creating community based solutions to animal sheltering and helping to keep pets out of pounds and in homes!
