03.01.2022 Subcon Technologies have commenced the installation of 106 artificial reef modules off Scarborough in Moreton Bay QLD. Subcon's ApolloTM and AbitatTM modules are an Australian innovation which interacts with ocean currents to create upwelling and a rich supply of food. Subcon decisions are low maintenance, purpose-built, fibre reinforced, concrete module which have been tested in conjunction with the University of Western Australia. Turner Reef is a tribute to Bill Turner, who dedicated his life to recreational fishing.

03.01.2022 ARTIFICIAL REEFS: Christmas has come early for anglers in Darwin, with four purpose-built reefs now open for fishing in Top End waters. It's hoped the habitats will boost breeding, and last up to 100 years.
