In fact, a lack of motivation can be triggered by many factors, including stress, sleep and nutrition, and often they influence one another. When we're stressed it's easy to push our workouts to one side. Lack of sleep also has a profound influence over our self-control. Those late night, crappy dinners are often a res...ult of being too tired and having less willpower to resist the temptation. Having good self-control requires a lot of effort, which wilts away when you are sleep deprived. WINTER TIPS 1. Set goals that stick When it comes to improving wellbeing, a goal is what will keep you in the game when you feel like walking away. 2. Fail to plan, plan to fail Once you've set your goal you need a plan of action: A route to success. This could be developed with the help of a personal trainer or join a class gym. 3. Prep like a boss Set aside time every Sunday to sit down and schedule your workouts for the week ahead. Treat these as the most important appointments in your calendar! 4. Treat yourself Assign a treat to every goalbig and smalland be sure to follow through with the reward when you achieve them. I mean who doesn’t love new gym clothes to make you train harder 5. Take care of number one Whether it comes naturally to you or not, try making your well-being your number one priority. Why? The soul and man behind @scarboroughgym Massive thanks to his Coach Paul Morris and our Corner Offical @leighroy for your support on the night and to Paul for his coaching leading up to the fight! Wasn’t a win on the night however Rusty is man enough to take all the lessons which his main lesson from the fight I didn’t want to get into a scrappy ugly brawl I want to box like a boxer and show my skill set From his previous fights we all seen a massiv...e improvement in his form and no more brawling His coach was happy and had only positive criticism for him! Good luck for the next 5 weeks prep for the next round of fights Rusty!!! There is no stopping you!! 11.01.2022 Scarborough Gyms very own Chris At the @revbbc doing his thing last Sunday for the at the APU WA State Championships. Chris come away from with a 190kg squat just missing the 195kg. A 210 deadlift with his previous Australian record at 202.5 !!! Gold medals for this absolute legend!! Beating both his deadlift and squat previous Australian records. ... What an afternoon down at @revbbc Was a great event and great to see some great friends. Chris is set on moving forwards and will now be competing again the next comp on the 22nd November. Let’s get it mate @scarboroughgym @chrisball64 Unfortunately Brookesy had some absolute tragic news less then 24hrs of stepping on stage Sunday with loosing her very very close Pop Brookes. She was super brave and tryed her best but emotionally it wasn’t the right day and we left after her second lift and rightly so, @brookesybabe Set yourself dreams guys and get after them!!!!
