24.01.2022 P&C PIZZA NIGHT The P&C is happy to announce that the Pizza Night is finally on!! Let's gather together on Friday 27th November at 5:30pm on the school oval. The cost is $6 for adults and $2 for each child (siblings and family members are welcome). If you placed an order for the postponed Pizza Night, which was to be held in March, then you don't need to place a new order. ... We welcome families that haven't ordered yet to do so by next Friday the 20th of November. 24.01.2022 Uniform Shop Open Wednesday Mornings - Pre ordered shirts ready for collection. Just a reminder that the uniform shop is open on Wednesday mornings from 8:45am to 9:15am. P&C volunteers will be at the canteen hatch to assist you. ... Please wait during this time if the shop is unattended as we may be delivering an order. Order forms are available at http://scarboroughps.wa.edu.au/p-c/uniform-shop/ or at the front office. Emailed orders will be delivered to your child's classroom. Please note: we are still waiting on some back orders and will let everyone know when they arrive.

23.01.2022 BOOKLIST 2021 FUNDRAISER Please support the P&C and purchase your booklist items through us! The booklist can be downloaded through the SPS website. Place your booklist in the P&C mailbox located in the front office by Wednesday the 16th December. Please make your payment prior to handing in your booklist. Bank transfers and cheques accepted. If you are paying via bank transfer, please pay the P&C voluntary contribution separately to the booklist. The school voluntary cont...ribution will need to be paid to a different bank account noted on the form. 20.01.2022 CONTAINERS FOR CHANGE. If you wish to return your containers to our local Containers for Change refund point In Osborne Park for Scarborough Primary School, you will need to scan the below barcode in order for the donation to be returned to the school. We look forward to seeing you all back at school this week where you will also see our new Containers for Change bins !!! Remember: Containers don’t need to be in perfect condition for them to be returned. Containers can be sl...ightly crushed as long as our Balcatta refund point operator can identify the container as an eligible container. Just ensure your containers are empty and the lids are removed. Containers returned through reverse vending machines (RVM) like that in Osborne Park, will need your containers to be intact and have a readable barcode so it can be scanned to check the container is eligible See more

16.01.2022 The P&C has been working very hard packing both book list orders and uniform orders. Please be mindful that we are all volunteers and the uniform shop has been inundated as we also have a new polo shirt for 2021. Please be patient when awaiting a response to emails sent. Collection of booklists will be from room 8 on Wednesday 27th of January 9am to 12pm and Thursday 28th of January 12pm to 3pm.... The uniform shop will also be open at these times. Sarah is still needing a volunteer to help in the uniform shop on the Wednesday. Please email us if you can assist.

16.01.2022 UNIFORM SHOP OLD STOCK SALE!! Next year SPS will be getting a brand new school polo shirt. We will be receiving the initial shirts shortly and will display these for you to view on the school notice board. Because of this, all of the old polo stock MUST GO. Sizes 2, 10, 12, 14 & 16 are left and on sale now for $15.00. Once they are gone, they are gone!

We will return tomorrow (Wednesday 20th) at 3pm until 5/6pm to finish off. Many hands make light work so please come along if you can. Children are welcome. 01.01.2022 P&C AGM and General Meeting - Monday 22 February 2021 Hello SPS families! The 2021 school year has finally kicked off and is in full swing. This also means that the Scarborough Primary School Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) will start meeting again.... The P&C is an association which is run by volunteers from the school community. Through voluntary contributions and fund-raising activities, the P&C tries to enhance the facilities and learning environment of the school. To give you an example, in 2020 the P&C contributed to mathletics, choir shirts, musical instruments and we have pledged to contribute towards the bus for swimming lessons and the refurbishment of the school library. Some of last year’s fundraising activities included a Pizza Night, Pajama Day and Crazy Hair Day. Our P&C also runs canteen, uniform shop and school banking. The P&C is a great way to connect with fellow parents and caregivers at our school and in our community. Therefore, we would love to see new families and new faces at our next meeting! Our next General Meeting followed by the Annual General Meeting will be held today, Monday 22 February at 6.30pm in the school library. All positions will be up for nomination at the AGM including: President Vice President Secretary Treasurer Uniform, Fundraising, Canteen and Social Media Coordinators If you are new to the P&C or haven’t been to a meeting for a while we encourage you to come along. There are roles on the committee for those wanting to be more involved, but your involvement can be as simple as coming to our meetings where you can share your ideas and make decisions. It is a gold coin donation to become a financial member, which allows members to participate in the democratic decision making processes. So please remember your gold coin!
